Course Summary: The Annual Survey of Towing Vessels VIRTUAL course is open to TVIB members and non-members alike. It has been designed to teach Subchapter M Annual Survey skills and knowledge to those who will be performing surveys as a part of an internal survey program, as well as those who wish to hold the TVIB Certified Annual Surveyor credential to perform external surveys for TVIB. The course includes an online pre-course portion that MUST be completed prior to attending class. Documentation: Practical exercises, quizzes, a final exam and active participation in class are required to earn your certificate. Certification: If you are planning to perform Subchapter M annual surveys for TVIB customers, you may need to obtain a full credential. Please complete the External Surveyor Membership Application PRIOR to attending class. If you are an employee of a TVIB customer and will only perform internal annual surveys, you do not need to complete the application. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be submitted one week (7 days) prior to the first day of the course. Please note that a cancellation fee of $150 will be charged. No refund will be issued for non-attendance without notification or for early withdrawal from a class.
